NOW has been invited to take an active part in the New York International Band and Orchestra Festival 2008 to be held in, Carnegie Hall, New York, USA.
We NOW have a full band and are busy preparing for our trip to America.
We have special rehearsals once a month at the Milton Keynes Music Service.
We will be performing our Carnegie Hall programme + some other stuff that we are performing in New York, at 7pm Sunday
9th March, Wellingborough Castle.
As well as the Showcase concert in Carnegie Hall and an hour 'pops' concert in Central Park we are planning an exchange concert with a University Wind Orchestra in New York. Most of the time will be free so we can all get the most out of our trip to the Big Apple!
We fly out on Friday 21st March early afternoon and return on the 29th March 2008 in the morning.
