My daughter recently joined this group and I must applaud Mr Bassey for his enthusiasm,
assertiveness and accuracy in our child’s progress. Each week I watch the final 5 minutes of the group's
performance for that week and it amazes me how Mr Bassey can entice you in as if you are part of his group.
I could stand and watch him all day with his ability to spot the wrong note or the visibility to help a struggling pupil.
A refreshing change in teaching, excellent work and please keep it going.

Dear Andrew,
Many, many thanks for all your hard work and skill with the CD and concert. It was a great evening on Saturday, and I've had lots of positive feedback about the event, including your conducting and the high standard of the wind band. You gave the concert a real energy, so thank you.As I wasn't able to pick the CD up before Christmas, I got my copy on Saturday, and I am genuinely impressed with every aspect of it. I like the clean, professional presentation both with the covers and the on-disc printing, and the logo works brilliantly.
The sound quality is professional with seamless edits - I can appreciate how much time and skill goes into this, especially when you have so many combinations of takes at your disposal. I thought the track listing was effective too, keeping the adjacent pieces varied made for more interesting listening, yet the whole CD still maintains a unified feel. I hope the present will go a little way to showing our appreciation for all of your hard work, skill and dedication.
As for my own piece, I am really pleased. The main thing with any recording and performance is that it gets the intended emotion across, and that was certainly achieved, so again, thank you.Kind regards,

Just a note to say how much I enjoyed the concert of new compositions on Saturday (10th January 2009). The vast majority could have been passed off as classics from great composers quite easily.Personal favourites were from Bricher and Byron with a special mention for Beaumont for his obvious skill (just not quite my taste).Please keep me informed of any similar concerts...
